Cross Country Skiing — Friendship Hill NHP

Description

The Friendship Hill National Historic site located north of Point Marion, Pa includes 9.6 miles of trails. All of these trails form good loops from short to medium distance. The trails wander around the meadows and woodlands that surround the Albert Gallatin home located on the Monongahelia River. There are no ski facilities, but the house is open Sat. and Sun. during the winter.

Directions from Morgantown

Take U.S. Rt. 119 (Pt Marion Rd) North to Point Marion, PA. Go north on Rt. 166 for 3 miles to the park entrance on the left.
