Savage River State Forest (MD)

Description:

There are 78 miles of trails throughout this 54,000 acre area of hardwood forests streams and creeks. A backpackers loop links trails and roads that begins and ends at New Germany State Park. Not all trails link together, so plan accordingly. Trail maps are available at the forest office or can be ordered through the web site.
