Cranberry Tri-Rivers Rail Trail
Description:
There are 16 miles of trail adjacent to the Gauley & Cherry Rivers. The western portion of the trail travels through the Monongahela National Forest, and more remote areas. The eastern portion of the trail is in Richwood and adjacent communities as it parallels the Cherry River. Three main access points allow for different length rides and areas to visit.
Directions:
The Cranberry Tri-Rivers Rail Trail is located in south eastern West Virginia. The eastern terminus is Richwood, WV. 38.224472, -80.533401. There is trail access at Holecome, along Rt. 55 38.256399, -80.601142. (Google directions below). The western terminus is along the Gauley River 8 miles north of the intersection with the Cherry River.
