Ohio River Rail Trail

Description:

This trail, along with the Wheeling Creek Rail Trail, provide the greater Wheeling area a wonderful resource for biking accessed from multiple town centers.  The Ohio River Rail Trail is over eleven miles long from 48th Street in Benwood to the northern terminus at Short Creek where the Brooke/Pioneer Trail begins.  The trail in downtown Wheeling runs through the historic district with access to parks, shops and museums.

Directions:

The Ohio River Rail Trail is located in the Northern Panhandle of WV.  There are eleven parking/access points along the trail between (Google directions below),
