Rock Climbing:

Long Mountain

Description:

Long Mountain includes thirty six named routes that range in difficulty of 5.3 to 5.10, with most of the climbs in the 5.5-5.9 range. This makes for a great beginner traditional climbing area with the asterisk that there is not much traffic here and loose rock is a good possibility. The height of climbs ranges from 35 to 90 ft. These are traditional routes with the potential for top rope. Check out the Long Mountain Climbing Guide below for good details on the area, access and routes.
