Tea Creek / Slatyfork

Description:

This is a regional/national destination for Mt. Biking. 5400 acres with 45 miles of trails provides a lot of trails for its size. A wide range of difficulty from easier to very technical is found here. Most of the trails create good loops. Directions:

The Tea Creek Backcountry is located east of Marlinton, WV near Snowshoe.  The two most popular trailheads are located at the Tea Creek Campground on the Williams River Rd. (Google directions below) and on Rt. 150 (Highland Scenic Highway) at the Tea Creek Mtn. Trailhead. The Props Run trailhead is 5.5 miles north on Mine rd and FR 24.
