Cheat Mountain/ Shavers Fork Area
Description:
Shavers Fork Area includes trails on both the east and west side of the Shavers Fork River as it flows on the high plateau of Cheat Mountain. This area is very remote and has ten trails that total over fifty two miles. There are many more miles of gravel roads and logging roads (closed to vehicles) that join with these trails to allow for a large amount of riding.

The Shavers Fork Area is located in central West Virginia, south of Elkins.
Google Maps directions below are to the Chestnut Ridge Trail on FR 92 (Cheat Mtn Rd). There are also trailheads along FR 209 (Shavers Fork Rd), FR 47 (White Meadow Rd) and FR 49 (Crouch Run Rd).
