Description:
Deckers Creek flows from Preston County to Morgantown. Although polluted with acid mine drainage while flowing through Dellslow, the stretch just upstream is less polluted and beautiful. The creek drops sharply over the course of a few miles, so there are many water falls, rock gardens and rhododendron thickets. The most popular swimming spot is at the Cascades closer to Masontown. Other spots to check out exist along Rt. 7 just off the road.
