Description:
Mill Creek flows through Ansted, WV and then drops into the New River Gorge at Hawks Nest State Park. There are many great swimming spots along the section that is bordered by the Hawks Nest/Ansted Rail Trail. Just bike or walk the trail and look for a spot to cool off. Mill Creek Falls is visible from the Hawks Nest Rd.
