Bee Run Campground
Description:
Bee Run Campground is located on Sutton Lake near Bee Run Recreation Area. Activities in the area center around the lake, including canoeing, swimming and fishing. The lake is bordered by the Elk River Wildlife Management Area, which offers hunting and off trail hiking. Bee Run Campground includes 12 total primitive sites. Facilities include pit toilets, picnic tables and grils. Water, a marina , a playground, and a boat ramp are located nearby. The campground is open from May to early December. The campground is managed by the Army Corps of Engineers and sites are first come, first served.
Directions:
Sutton Lake is located in central West Virginia, just to the east of Sutton. Bee Run Campground is on the western part of the lake near the dam. (Google directions below).
