Day Run Campground

Description:

Day Run Campground is a small campground well away from any well traveled spots on the Mon. National Forest.  This provides the perfect place for solitude. The campground is located along the upper Williams River, so fishing and playing around in the water are the most common activities.  Tea Creek Backcountry and Cranberry Wilderness are close by.  There are 12 campsites with pit toilets and a water pump.  There are not any hook up facilities for RV's.  Cost is $8 per site first come first served.  

Directions:

Day Run Campground is in the southern part of the Monongahela National Forest, west of Marlinton and near the Highland Scenic Highway.  The campground is on Forest Road 216, four miles off the Highland Scenic Highway. (Google directions below).

Backpacking (Tea Creek), Backpacking (Cranberry), Hiking, Fishing, Swimming Holes, Mountain Biking (Tea Creek/Slatyfork), Mountain Biking (Cranberry Backcountry).
