Tea Creek Campground

Description:

Tea Creek Campground is a great basecamp to experience one of the best locations in the Monongahela National Forest and all of West Virginia.  The campground is nestled into an area along the Williams River in between Tea Creek Backcountry and Cranberry Wilderness.  This spectacular area is well know for hiking and mountain biking with a total of 170 miles of trails within a short distance of the campground.  If you are more interested in relaxing activities, the opportunity to go fishing or just play in the water is nearby on the Williams River.  There are 28 campsites with pit toilets and a water pump.  There are not any hook up facilities for RV's.  Cost is $10 per site first come first served.  

Directions:

Tea Creek Campground is in the southern part of the Monongahela National Forest, west of Marlinton and adjacent to the Cranberry Wilderness.  The campground is on the Williams River Road just off the Highland Scenic Highway. (Google directions below).
