Camping:

Lost River State Park

Description:

Lost River State Park includes almost four thousand acres of forested mountains located in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle.  Hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, fishing and historic interests are popular at the park.  There are two types of camping at the park.  Primitive camping is available by hiking one and a half miles on White Oak Trail to a shelter with a picnic table and latrine.  These sites must be reserved and are available spring though early fall.

There are also three campsites available that can be used as individual sites or a group area.  These also must be reserved and include fire rings, the use of a shelter and picnic tables.  To reserve any sites, call the park (# below).
