Lake Buffalo Dispersed Camping

Description:

Lake Buffalo is a small impoundment of the Buffalo Fork located deep in the Monongahela National Forest.  The Little River and The East Fork of the Greenbrier River are nearby.  For those interested in fishing and staying overnight, there are dispersed primitive campsites here.  These are first-come-first served campsites (no reservations). There is a vault toilet, but no potable water.

Lake Buffalo is located in the eastern section of the Monongahela National Forest, near Bartow, WV. (See Google Maps below for specific directions.)
