Camping:

West Fork Dispersed Camping

Description:

West Fork Dispersed Camping includes sites along the West Fork of the Greenbrier River to the north of Durbin on Forest Rd. 44.  Dispersed campsites in the Monongahela National Forest are first come first served, there is no fee, and they do not have facilities (potentially a pit toilet shared for all sites and picnic table).  This means you have to be prepared for backcountry camping with a way to treat your water and go to the bathroom in the woods.

Directions:

The West Fork Area is located in central West Virginia, south of Elkins in the Monongahela National Forest.  Google Maps directions below are to the campsites along FR 44 (Glady to Durban Rd).
