Spruce Knob Lake

This campground is near Spruce Knob Lake, Spruce Knob and Seneca Creek Backcountry.  It is really a great spot if you are interested in camping in one of the best backcountry areas in West Virginia.  There are hiking trails nearby and many more in the Seneca Creek Backcountry.  The lake is a nice spot to fish and take a leisurely paddle.  There are 42 sites, with 3 group sites at nearby Gatewood Group CG.

Spruce Knob Lake is located in the Spruce Knob/Seneca Rocks Recreation Area, west of Circleville, WV.  (See Google Maps below for specific directions.)
