Canoeing:
Lake Sherwood
Description:
Lake Sherwood is one of the most beautiful settings in West Virginia. The lake itself is 165 acres of water surrounded by isolated high ridges in the Monongahela National Forest. There are two sand beach swimming areas and small islands to explore. Fishing is popular and only electric motor boats are allowed, so canoeing is great here. There are boat rentals available.
