Canoeing:

North Bend Lake

Description:

North Bend Lake is one of the main attractions of North Bend State Park. The lake is 305 acres and is just over eight miles long.  It is narrow and has the feel of a large river rather than an expansive lake.  It is good for canoeing and fishing because boats are limited to small motors and there are many shallow areas with tree stumps remaining that provide cover for both fish and canoes.  Park Map
