Stonecoal Lake

Description:

This is a 550 acre lake that is surrounded by the Stonecoal Lake Wildlife Management Area.  The lake is narrow and long with many coves for exploring.  There is not much power boat traffic, so great canoeing and fishing can be experienced.  There are three public access points on the lake.  WMA Map

Directions:

Stonecoal Lake is located in central WV near Weston.  Google directions below are to the access point on the west side of the lake closest to the dam.  The other two access points are on the eastern side of the lake - 38.955301, -80.319853 & 38.962113, -80.317240
