Description:
This 360 acre reservoir is great for canoeing and fishing as no gasoline motors are allowed. It is intimate and just right for learning how to canoe and enjoying a relaxing time on the water. Access is available from the Big Run Campground and at the dam.
Directions:
Savage River Reservoir is located in western Maryland south of New Germany State Park. Big Run State Park is located on the reservoir (Google directions below).
