Cacapon River

Description:

This is a good beginner river. 12 miles of class I-II (III). There is beautiful scenery with the river passing through a canyon and castle rock as the highlight. Map (pdf).

Directions:

The put-in is at the Rt. 50 bridge as it crosses the Cacapon River (Google Directions below).  The take-out is at the Rt. 127 bridge at the Forks of Cacapon.
