Description:
The Elk River from Bergoo to Webster Springs is a good intermediate run at low to medium levels. It includes cobble bars, ledges and one larger rapid. At higher levels, this run takes on class IV characteristics. See the American Whitewater link below for more details, including description and flow information. Class II-III(IV). 11.6 miles. Curtin to Webster Springs cuts the length in half.
