Description:The Elk River from Bergoo to Webster Springs is a good intermediate run at low to medium levels. It includes cobble bars, ledges and one larger rapid. Curtin to Webster Springs cuts the length in half.
Directions:The Elk River is in central West Virginia, near Webster Springs. The put in is at Bergoo (Google directions below) or Curtain CR 15/3 bridge. The take-out is at Webster Springs (Bakers Island Park). Put-In: 38.487221 ,-80.300278 Take-Out: 38.478102, -80.415427
