Bluestone River (Eads Mill to Bluestone SP)
Description:
The Bluestone River is a wonderful intermediate run with almost continuous rapids for the first 10+ miles. The surroundings are the impressive with waterfalls and views of the steep forested gorge. There are multiple take-out options (see below) that depend on access and season. The tram option at Pipestem SP is only in operation from starting in April. A reservation must be made by phone for the tram (304) 466-1800 ext 394

Directions:
The Bluestone River is in southern West Virginia, just north of Princeton. Put-In is at Eads Mill Rd 37.478880, -81.071780 (Google Directions below). Take out options are the tram at Pipestem State Park 37.537633, -81.007689 , at the Bluestone Turnpike Trailhead 37.583837, -80.971511 or at Bluestone SP 37.606952, -80.943830
