Whitewater:

Little Sandy Creek (Upper)

Description:

Class II-III water when most everything else is flooded. This is a quality and fun run close to Morgantown.  5 miles. Add a few more miles of slow water to the Rt. 26 bridge. Map (pdf)

Directions:

The ideal put-in for this section is on CR 5-13.  This is a public road all the way down to the creek, but the landowner has put a gate up with menacing signs.  The other option for a put-in is off the Hazelton exit of I 68 (Google Map link below) on Moyers Rd (CR 5-3).  This put-in requires a kamikaze attitude as the creek goes underneath the highway and through a few miles of tight flowing water with lots of downed trees.
