Description:
This is one of the most well known and popular state parks in WV. The prime attraction is the falls that drop about 60 feet and begin the descent of the Blackwater River into the Canyon. Although the short trail of steep steps to the viewing platforms of the falls is by far the most popular trail in the park, there are many others with equally impressive views. Views of the canyon and other waterfalls are highlights of this park. Lindy Point, Elakala Falls and Pendleton Point are other popular destinations. Overall, there are 20 miles of trails that allow for exploration of this classic WV park. Park Map
