Burnsville Lake WMA

Description:

Burnsville Lake Wildlife Management Area consists of over 13 thousand acres of land that surround Burnsville Lake.  There are 57 trails with over 80 miles of hiking to access the wooded hills of the area and secluded points of the lake.  Destinations of interest here include Mills Falls and Bull Run Historic Area.  There are two campgrounds on the WMA for extended visits.  Burnsville Lake Brochure and Map (great resource for details about the area).  

Directions:

Burnsville Lake WMA is located in central WV southwest of Buckhannon. Google Maps directions below are to the Bulltown Historic area.  There are ten other trailheads/parking spots spread out on the outer edges of the property (see brochure and map above).
