Description:
Carnifex Ferry Battlefield State Park is located on the rim of the Gauley River Canyon. It is a Civil War battlefield that hosts reenactments and includes historical buildings and markers. The park includes 165 acres of land with three trails totalling three miles of hiking featuring three overlooks of the Gauley River. Park Map
