West Fork River Rail Trail (Greenbrier)

Description:

This trail is in the heart of the mountains of West Virginia. It travels through some farmland closer to Glady, but then is in the mountains and forest for the rest of the way. It extends for 26 miles adjacent to the West Fork of the Greenbrier River. Day hikes out and back or an overnight trip is possible with a shuttle. There are spots to camp along the trail. The High Falls of the Cheat Trail crosses the West Fork Trail and provides an optional side trip. The Span Oak Trail also joins this trail closer to Durbin.

Directions:

The northern terminus is near Glady, WV, The southern terminus is in Durbin, WV. (Google directions below). There are four parking access points along the trail (see map below).
