Hiking:

Horseshoe Run Area

Description:

Horseshoe Run area includes a picnic area, campground, the narrow drainage of Horseshoe Run itself, and a few trails.  The three trails include about three and one half miles of hiking.  There is one trail on each side of the drainage and both can be linked with local roads to create loop hikes.  The Allegheny Trail comes through this area following forest roads.
