Brandywine Recreation Area

Description:

Brandywine Recreation Area is located on the border of West Virginia and Virginia.  There are eight trails on the West Virginia side of the ridge totaling just over 25 miles of hiking.  The highlight is hiking to the High Knob Fire Tower for a spectacular view.  These trails can be linked to trails and gravel roads in the Hone Quarry and North River areas just over the ridge in Virginia.

Brandywine Recreation Area is located in eastern West Virginia, east of Franklin along SR 33. (Google directions below).
