Droop Mountain Battlefield State Park

Description:

Droop Mountain is a park dedicated to the battle of Droop Mountain in the Civil War.  The park includes 287 acres located on a ridge above the Greenbrier River.  There are 8 trails with 3.3 miles of hiking that create good loops through the park.  There are picnic sites, a wetland area, a lookout tower, and a museum.  Park Map.
