Yankauer Nature Preserve

Description:

Yankauer Nature Preserve is a Nature Conservancy property that is managed by the Potomac Valley Audubon Society (PVAS).  This preserve includes 104 acres of land and 4 trails that total 2.4 miles.  Trails access the rolling hills, impressive spring wildflower displays and a viewpoint of the Potomac River.  PVAS offers places and programs for people to get outside for exploration and to learn about the natural world.  Preserve Map/Brochure

Yankauer Nature Preserve is located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia near Charles Town. (See Google Maps below for specific directions.)
