Middle Mountain/Laurel Fork Area

Description:

The Middle Mountain/Laurel Fork Area is a wonderfully isolated section of the Monongahela National Forest.  There are 10 trails in the area with a total of over 50 miles of hiking.  Highlights include the High Falls Trail to one of the best waterfalls in the state, the West Fork Rail Trail, the Allegheny Trail, and Laurel Fork Wilderness.

The Middle Mountain/Laurel Fork Area is located in central WV, southeast of Elkins.
